Hourglass
I looked into a Glass,
And in its Depths I saw..
A Mystery so deep,
I longed its Secret
To keep.
Tempting, tentalized -
Captured me in awe,
And I yearned to leap.
Evermore
Velveted in its Sleep
I looked up at the Sky,
Beseeched it for a clue,
Arithmatic and Rhyme,
Unveiled not the Truth..
I wondered ever why
Pleaded cards, what’s due ?
To fathom what lies
In its haunting Hue..
I gazed into Reflection,
A Shimmer, shily shone -
A Whisper of Redemption
A Sigh resides its Throne.
Into my Heart, I cast a Glance
Sun rose over Dawn -
Entangled in timid Dance
At last, I am @ home
